click here for contents ECHO HILL STUDIOS ARTIST: ANN KAHL PART TWO THE NETHERLANDS I I I DELFT-THE TOWN The Railroad Station _________________ The Town Square _________________        Shopping The fabric on the left in the lefthand photo looks Eastern Maybe it's from the Dutch East Indies The one on the right in that photo is certainly from Delft How nicely it compliments the lovely little vase at the top of the righthand photo. _________________ _________________ _________________        _________________ The pictures above are aspects of what the town of Delft, in South Holland, is known for; the very beautiful blue and white Delft pieces, especially the tiles, are known all over the world. I wish I knew exactly what I am looking at in the "factory" photos--I ran in, shot them and ran out, (with permission of course), without time to learn their meaning, as an exquisite glass of wine was waiting right around the corner. The young lady at the table along the main street tells the tale.
